The Siltec PS500L offers 500 pound weighing capacity with 0.5 pound accuracy.  Need to weigh in kg?  With a press of the weigh mode button you have 220kg x 0.2kg.  The PS500L is our most requested Siltec model.

This is a durable and economical bench scale ideal for shipping and receiving.  Low profile design allows cartons to slide easily onto the weighing platform.

The slanted display is easy to read whether sitting or standing.  Weights are displayed in with the large bright red LED 4 digits (0.6 " high) and unmistakably readable.  The PS500L offer a 12" x 12.4" platform but the WS-Series offers a large 15" x 15" (compare the platform size of the WS to the PS Series here).

For those people using the scale to weigh themselves, if you weigh over 450 lbs we would recommend the WS1000L over the PS500L for your selection.  Cars have a speedometer that we'll say go up to 120 mph, but if you drive the vehicle at this speed and the police don't catch you, can you really expect to get 100,000 miles out of the vehicle?  Scales are really no different.  Please review additional information here before you make your final selection.

The PS500L comes standard with AC Adapter and built in battery charger.  The unit can also operate on six AA size nickel cadmium rechargeable batteries not included.

The PS500L features a 500 pound capacity that increments in 0.5 pounds.  Beware if you see scales that look similar at one of those office superstores since those are mostly 400 lbs x 0.5 lb and nowhere near the quality of Siltec.  The PS500L gives you greater weighing capacity.
