The Custom Weight Register empowers a customer to weigh in almost any unit of measure desired.

This powerful feature can be factory installed into any of the Scientech's 40 various Zeta Series and Series 10K Series balances except the SM & SHC Series.

To order the Custom Weight Register (optional accessory part # 9009-90 - cost $40.00), you must tell us at the time of placing the order, since the custom unit of measure must be programmed into the balance when it is custom built for your weighing application. 

Perfect use of this register is to weigh in milligrams or pounds instead of grams.

It is also ideal for results in basis weight, any weight per unit area measurement, or even dollars.

This handy feature enables you to easily access weights in:

Whenever you desire to select a unit of weight via the front panel of the Scientech balance, you press the MODE switch, which cycles through grams (g), carats (ct), pennyweight (dwt), troy ounces (ozt), and ounces (oz).

When the desired unit of measure appears, you press the MODE switch a second time to select that unit of measure.

If the custom weight register option is installed, an "A" annunciator will appear following ounces (oz) and will give you the special unit of measure you had custom programmed.  This is a unique solution to your balance weighing needs.
