Sartorius Ultra-Micro & Micro
Analytical Balances
 |
|
| |
For the ultimate in micro-weighing performance choose
Sartorius. The SE2 ultra-microbalance delivers an incredible
full resolution of 21 million digits, with a capacity of 2.1g
and 0.1 µg readability (that's 0.0000001 grams).
The ME5 will weigh up to 5.1 g with 1 µg readability.
Both models stabilize within an ultra fast 10 seconds, for maximum
time savings with each weighing operation. Both the Sartorius
SE2 and ME5 microbalances feature the EUREKA® air buoyancy correction
software, allowing true mass measurement and compensation for
fluctuations in air density. Built-in software simplifies
backweighing, and enable fast, error-free storage of tare weights,
initial sample weights and calculation of the amounts backweighed
in any order you choose for as many as 50 samples.

Microbalance for the maximum
in performance and resolution.
- Wherever maximum accuracy is required, even for minimal
sample quantities
- Serial weighing that benefits from very fast response
times and a fully automatic draft shield
- µg-accurate weighing of toxic, hygroscopic, or heavily
oxidizing samples can be done in laminar flow boxes, glove
boxes or under fume hoods
- Areas with strict demands on cleanliness
- Differential weighing (ashing or incineration, drying,
measurement of coatings, checking spillage quantities, etc.)
- Mass determination that allows for air buoyancy
- Air density determination for metrological weight analyses
- Complete calibration, adjustment and documentation routines
for monitoring test and measuring equipment when integrated
into a quality system

The "intelligent learning function",
the motorized draft shield can be adapted to any work routine
at the press of a key. A special conductive coating on the
glass prevents the buildup of static electricity.
The access angle can be defined by adjusting the angle of the draft
shield
opening by hand or by entering the angle using the numerical keys
|
|
|
|
The draft shield is easily and completely removable
without tools to facilitate quick clean-ups or retrieval of dropped
samples.
|
|
|
|
The display and keyboard area are entirely sealed,
protecting them against ingress of dust and moisture.
